Selena Gomez Tops TikTok's 2023 Music Chart

According to a research published by the social video-sharing site, Selena Gomez achieved the highest level of user engagement on TikTok during the previous year.

Gomez was named the most popular artist in the US on TikTok, with around 60 million followers.

Along with Ice Spice, Natalie Jane, Lizzo, Ariana Grande, and other musicians, the multi-hyphenate is the leader of the group of musicians who made the top 10, often posting utilizing the hottest sounds of the moment.

Along with being more well-liked than BTS, Shakira, Blackpink, and Kim Loaiza, she was also the second most popular artist in the globe.

The entire credit belongs Selena Gomez, whose video from February showing her getting ready for an early trip had over 24 million likes and was listed as the fourth most popular trending video in the United States.

In other news, Justine Skye had an amazing year after users of TikTokers grabbed hold of an accelerated version of her 2014 track "Collide," making it the most popular sound in the United States with over 6 million creations across song variants.

She wasn't the only one with sped-up versions to reach the top 10, as Partynextdoor's "Her Way (Sped Up)," Toosii's "Favorite Song - Sped Up," and Fifty Fifty's "Cupid - Twin Ver - Sped-Up Version" also came in after her.

Other songs that became extremely popular on the internet include “Cruel Summer” by Taylor Swift, “Boy’s a Liar, Pt. 2” by PinkPantheress and Ice Spice, and “Makeba” by Jain.
