SWAT called to house in which possible suspect fled

Baltimore police SWAT officers cleared a house Saturday in which a possible shooting suspect fled.City police said officers were called around 11:02 a.m. to the 1000 block of Ashburton Street in west Baltimore for a shooting call. Police said officers found a man suffering from numerous gunshot wounds who died at the scene.Police said officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert in the 2700 block of Strayer Court but did not find anyone there.Officers were then told that a man was seen running away from the scene and going into a house in the 2700 block of Mosher Street. This individual was believed to be a possible suspect.At 4:30 p.m., police said SWAT officers cleared the scene after a person was not found.No further information was immediately released.
