A MAN has revealed that he transformed his grim fence in no time at all and has shared just how you can do it too.
Luke Moore explained that his fence has quickly gone from drab to fab and thanks to his genius cardboard hack, he found painting and protecting his neighbours’ home much easier.
So if you want to get your garden looking fresh for the long bank holiday weekend and your fence is in need of a refresh, then you’ll need to listen up quickly.
DIY fan Luke, from Perth, Australia, took to TikTok, where he posts under the username @therenodad, to show off his epic fence transformation.
He posted his clip with the caption ‘DIY Fence painting ideas’ and shared a step-by-step process of the makeover.
He said: “I took this old fence and turned it into this.
“Here’s how you can do it too.
“I started by airless spray painting this brick wall, then I had an idea.
“I cut up this piece of cupboard and stuck on some magnetic tape and I put it on the back of the fence to protect the neighbours from overspray.
“Next I made the garden edging out of these composite slats.
“Then I added some soil conditioner, planted some dwarf fruit trees and surrounded them with Australian native plants.
“I picked up these rocks for free and they came with this bonus pet lizard.
“Then I finished it off with a layer of mulch.”
Luke proudly showed off his new fence, which was given the ultimate modern upgrade.
It’s no surprise that Luke’s clip has clearly impressed many, as it has quickly amassed 284,600 views.
It has 16,900 likes, 180 comments, 2,046 saves and 789 shares.
